We'd made a few versions with different cutting templates, materials, fabric thicknesses and ear loops and tested them ourselves. This final version was the winning combination of both comfort and functionality.

Tips
- Children sized surgical masks can fit into the filter slot by making a small fold at the top/bottom
- Insert surgical mask with the metal band at the bottom instead of the top as it prevents our fabric mask from having a good fit around the nose; Alternatively cut off the metal band
