Opened in 1981, Changi Airport is located on the eastern edge of Singapore and is built mainly on reclaimed land. There are three passenger terminals with a fourth slated to be ready by 2017. It is currently the world’s most awarded “Best Airport.” A key icon representing the airport, the Control Tower, stands at 78 meters tall and provides air traffic control service.
